Did I tell you I won a 100 dollars voucher from Fox? Haha.... and because I didnt have time to go collect, Sa offered to collect for me so I'll reward her with a free shirt from Fox.
and so, we went fox shopping! I bought a 50 dollar shorts (I'll probably be out of my mind if i were to buy it without a voucher, seriously) and another cute top, which didnt really look cute on me because i'm fat now. but since there's nothing else for me to buy and since it's going to be FREE, so yeah... just grabbed it lor. Well, it'll serve as a motivation for me to diet?.... perhaps not.
And Sa got back from Korea for her grad trip and guess what she bought me?

The skincare shops at korea giveaway BOF+HyunJoong postcards as freebies so she took for me too! Well, it's probably because Hyunjoong endorse Tony Moly so they shun bian add in BOF pic as well?

Results WAS out last week. Hurhur... I just got too lazy to blog. And it's funny how I've chose to blog about it now when I'm having an aching arm due to the plasticity testing of Atterburg's limit test I've done crazily after lunch today at work. Nvm, it's fun though. I'm officially an 'expert' for plasticity test. hahaha!
I've done better for this semester as compared to the previous one. GPA 4.14. Nope, I'm STILL not revealing my CGPA. It's nothing worth to be happy about. But then again I suddenly realised CGPA means nothing to me now since I can't grad within 4 years I will have no honours. Whichever class doesnt bothers me now. Now I will only strive to keep a semester GPA of above 4 for my remaining 2 semesters just for the sake of making myself feel better. hahaha...
FYP project listing was out erm, 2 days ago and I just found out now. Urgh. Thank got they're not doing the first come first serve thingy anymore. If not I'll scream. There's only ONE pathetic ENE-based project available. So perhaps I shall really consider doing Geotech based projects instead. Anyway I have until next month to decide about it.
my arm is getting more and more sore. I shall end my random update here.

I was freaking pissed off yesterday, and I'm still rather fed up right now. All because of this bookspree organised by a frequent warehouse bookspree organiser by the username that starts with yong and ends with bibi. It has been so long that I've even forgotten which spree i was in, but probably i was in the first spree, dated around november of 2008. And yes, I still have not received my book 3 and 4 of the Twilight series.
Unbelievably atrocious?
Yes, definitely.
Initially she gave us a rough estimation of a few weeks wait because all Twilight series needs restocking then (LAST YEAR). I have no idea why after 6 months, when Borders, MPH, Times and even Popular are stacked full of all 4 books, some even tattered and torn due to long time browsing by customers (which kinda suggested how long the book has been sitting on the shelf). But nevermind, I gave her the benefit of doubt and decided to wait without kicking up any form of fuss even though many other spree-ers has already been bombarding her with emails complaining about the long wait and even demanding for refunds by clicking the 'reply all' button.
So stupidly i waited for 6 mths for her email updates, until i decided that the serious lack of updates is rather unacceptable and so I started emailing her asking on whether the supplier has given her any deadline on when the books will be arriving. After sending two or three emails, with my last one stating openly that i'm not asking for any refunds, but just wanna know how long more i need to wait, she finally replied with 3 words: 2 wks max.
Fine then, 2 weeks? Wait I shall. But then, 2 weeks later that email, no more email updates came. So around 3 weeks after, i decided i've waited long enough and sent her yet another email to bug her. And yes, my books arrived. At least i think i can assume so because she just replied: Please revert with collection mode. I had opted for a meet up while making this order last year, so naturally i would still want to do so too. But she refused and said it's either by postage or I have to head down to her house to collect the stuff myself. Gosh, I have no idea how to get to that Buangkok area and so I changed my mind and opted for postage instead, asking her to advice on postage.
Guess what's her reply?
Eclipe has been given out, and i have to wait for the next restock, i do have bd, let me know if your willing to wait.
or if you just want bd+refund.
let me know if you want registered/normal
She has given out MY COPY of book 3 and is totally not apologetic AT ALL. WTF?
And so complain I shall.
anyway, i've totally forgotten which spree i'm in. it's either #1 or #2. initially i thought it was #2, but as i checked back on my past mails, i realised i've received #1 update mails too. high chances are I'm actually in spree 1. but no matter what, i've been waiting for roughly 6 months for the books you've initially promised to be a 2 weeks wait. Never once i've complained about the much longer than expected wait till now. A couple of weeks ago I've emailed you asking if the books has arrived, you replied saying it'll be 2 weeks MAX. Yet, two weeks after that email there was no updates from you until i took the initiative (again) to email you, to which you told me to revert with collection mode, which i think i can assume that BOTH my copies of eclipse and breaking dawn has arrived. I can faintly remember i've opted for meetup then. but it seems like after the 6 mths meet up is no longer available as a choice, much to my displeasure, because i couldnt do anything about it since the books just refused to arrive. I'm sorry I didn't know how to get to your house, but i seriously didn't expect that to be an excuse for you to give up my copy to another spree-er and i'm greatly fed up about this.
And her reply to me?
My mother gave the copy i kept for you to another spree-er who came in the morning, she didn't know . I was asleep.
I hope you understand i only had 10 copies. I will be refunding you for tt book. I don't profit from this spree either, by refunding it's from my own pocket, since the credit is still on my supplier's side.
I'm rly rly rly sorry alrite.
What? Is she expecting me to appreciate her effort for refunding me and thank her for it? I would feel a million times more understanding should she apologise first in the previous email. Apologising only after I've vomitted out all of my unhappiness wouldn't help, no matter how many 'really's were added in. Shorthand won't help either, it'll only show your insincerity.
Yes, I may be unreasonable and expecting too much, judging from the fact that it's supposed to be an unprofitable spree, but seriously this is really atrocious. This is definitely one of the (two) worse spree plus spree organiser i've ever met.
The other b*tch spree organiser's atrocious doing was that she missed out on my address comment on her lj page and gave up the limited candies to another spree-er who ordered and paid after me. When I pointed out her mistake, she went to delete my address comment on her lj page and insisted that I didn't give her my address. HAH!

Okay, this is the super duper belated entry. Heehee.... eh, i totally forgot when did I went to Top1 KTV with Sa and her Mat Sci clique already. It was sometime after their fyp report final submission. hee....

I shall start off with a group photo! Honghong, Huahua, JX, ME, Rongrong and Sa! Eh? where is the other two? Jona and YH.... I forgot. I think they left before we got the chance to take a group photo.

And of course, Sa and I MUST camwhore. =)

And I even did manicure for Sa, right inside the KTV room! heehee....

Then I started on a camwhoring with the mic thingy....

And I totally blank out when the others were singing.

And when I got sick of camwhoring i started playing with my (not many functions available) pink icecream LG phone. hahaha!

But all in all, it was still an enjoyable ktv session. =)

ps. I just made a few lunch kakis at work.

For the first time in the past 4 years, I went out with my CEE friends.
it's supposedly to 'celebrate' the commencing of my IO this coming Monday which is like, 2 days away. I'm dreading it. Gotta report to HR@Novena at 830. I hope I'll not be working at novena throughout the 3 months. Labs are definitely situated at Eunos/Ubi.
anyway, watched Shinjuku Incident last night with my CEE mini-clique. It's not a very typical Jackie Chan action-packed film. I mean, yes it is still an action movie in the sense that you see people pulling triggers at each others' head, cutting away their arms, slashing at others' necks, plunging knifes into each others' stomachs and see how their intestines slip out etc. But it's seriously lacking in the special Jackie Chan's entertainment style of fighting. But then again, it's kind of expected. We can't expect him to go on fighting that like forever and ever, right? In his later movies like New Police Story we've already seen hints of him attempting to switch styles into a more stubtle form of fighting and 'passing' the stunts over to Nicholas Tse. Around The World In 80 Days didn't see much of his 'WHOA!' fighting as well. What else? I miss Rush Hour series. I hope he'll consider making a Rush Hour 4.
Anyway, back to Shinjuku Incident. It's depicting how illegal immigrants(mainly from China) fought hard to earn a living in Japan's Shinjuku area. Literally fought hard. It has been nearly a month since this movie started airing, so i reckon those who wished to watch it has already done so? So am I allowed to give spoilers here? Eh, maybe not. I'm lazy.
Gee. (A SNSD inspired form of 'Hee'... I'm being lame here, ignore me)
I find it quite depressing that Steelhead has to die in the end. It didn't really affect me as much that Eguchi has to die since he's evil. Eguchi.... haha, Iriguchi, Deguchi, Eguchi desu! (now this is a taguchi junnosuke inspired pun, i'm being lame again... ignore me.) Iriguchui is entrance and Deguchi is exit, btw. It didn't really affect me to have the rest of the chinese illegal immigrants who were with Steelhead dying because they turned evil over the lure of money as well. But why Steelhead? Yes, he did kill. He did steal. He did go astray at one point of time. But all in all he was still the good one among them. Why did he has to die, and of all places, to be washed away by the sewage waters in the underground plumping systems? Okay, maybe it's because i'm Jackie-biased. *shrugs*
oh, and there are photos of the ktv session with sa and her clique. I've not even downloaded the sendspace file. I shall do a super duper late blog entry about it erm.... sometime later.

Yay, exams are over. Haha, it's rather weird how i'm not that overexcited over my new found freedom. Oh well, actually it's because i'm tentatively starting work on 27th, which is, yes... 3 days away. I'm dreading it. Am supposed to get some confirmation from them but they never called. Okay, i shall go email them again later. haha...
now for my papers. Jap 3 was blogged, yes?
If it weren't for my screwed up oral i think an A would be possible. but no, i totally threw my 15% into the garbage bin just in that less than 5 minutes.
HRM was fine. The paper itself should... i don't know earn me a B? But yet again, my quiz was screwed. So i guess a C should be it.
Science or Fiction was sucky! Omg, it's an MCQ paper with more than 1 correct answers for the questions. My entire OAS was literally blackened. Yes, there were so many questions I shaded 4 out of 5 choices only because the 5th choice was: None of the above. Everything seemed to be correct and also wrong at the same time and I just shaded everything. What, another C?
Then lastly my Water Resources. Haiz, i've spent days studying it and I really hope to get a good grade for it, judging from the fact that my quizzes aren't screwed up. But i just have to screw up the paper. 2 and a half hours ain't enough. I left 30 marks BLANK! BLANK! BLANK! And I can't be sure that those i've attempted are correct at all. =(
stupid exams are so screwed.
