work at genki today... i volunteered to be the dishwasher coz i thought there won't be much people anyway. it has been so since school reopened. but no, genki was packed all the way until 2 today. sheesh~! am i lucky or unlucky? nvm... andrew helped me too. but as he helped me i can hear the other kitchen people saying to him: do you think you have a chance? I didn't think much of it until i heard andrew reply: I'm only helping to clear the tub(of dishes).... -_-||| okok, nvm!
then after i'm done with the dishes, i went out to find the restaurant with like 2 tables occupied and with 2 customers at each table. so yy and i got so bored that we started competing who's faster with the pda. he won la... blardie hell. PDAs dont like me. got super insensitive when it comes to my hand. then yy was asking me how do i find the people here at genki. seriously, when i compare genki peeps to edo peeps, i'd still prefer working with edo peeps. but perhaps it's becoz i've worked nearly 7mths at edo and less than a mth at genki bah. well, i dunno! edo peeps are more acceptable to newcomers? sheesh~! nvm, nvm... then i was saying i'm not very familiar with the kitchen helpers. and yy replied saying that they all would wanna be familiar with me, just that i dont wanna talk to them. wth wth...
then the funniest thing that happened today... yy and i were stoning away when suddenly he asked me if i'm currently attached. and when i said no, he asked: how do you find Sunny? -_-||| the thing is, at this moment, the sushi bar peeps rang the bell, indicating that there's sushi to be served. so of course i have to go over la... and when i got there, darren immediately pointed to sunny and say: he wanna have your phone number. and all of a sudden, yy appeared beside me and added: can he have your number? kaoz.... how did they manage to communicate for the timing standing so far apart ar? -_-|||
fine fine fine, all kitchen helpers and chefs, be it genki or edo, likes me. happy?

met sa for movies again. this time we watched Just My Luck at Tampines Mall, cause she came tampines for house visits.
the movie is rather funny. LOL... basically it's about how Ashlee(Lindsay) was a very very lucky person. and her luck was so good such that the rain would stop for her, red lights wld turn green for her, hundred dollar bill would get stuck to her heels, lifts that was too packed for her would break down and get stuck for hours while another empty lift will come by almost immediately. well, not exactly empty... coz there would be a rich man's son, who is also a great looker, to share the lift with her and et cetera. yeah, i guess you got it. somehow, at a masquerade party organised by Ashlee's company, she got to met a guy with super unlucky life, Jake. ok, let's talk about this guy's life... just to let you have a simple idea of unlucky. he spot a penny and bends over to pick it up, but his pants would tear... hence he was mistaken for a pervert and got arrested for it. the dollar bill he picked up would be full of dog pooh, he fell over in his chair and et cetera. ok... so at this party, Ashlee met Jake and they kissed while dancing. and as expected, their luck changed.
So Ashlee somehow got arrested, her apartment got horrendously flooded for no reason, her contacts wld drop into cat litter, the hair dryer she uses wld somehow catch flame and caused a short circuit that resulted in a power failure for the entire block of apartment. and Jake? He successfully brought his band, McFly into stardom in one week.
a silly plot, yeah. but some hilarious scenes would be deinitely worth the money of the ticket. for example, the washing machine that spit foam under Ashlee's jinxed manipulation and how she attempted make it stop by hitting it with a mop or something. and how McFly's drummer Harry got locked up under the stage by Jake and found his way up onto the stage by the rising portion of the stage with a portable stagelight in his hands and a hilariously confused expression on his face. This scene is totally hilarious, i'd tell you. and also the part where Ashlee was going to take a train over to her parent's house and all the trains got delayed. and once jake kissed her, all trains were on time. and as she kissed back, it got delayed and then the entire system got haywire as they continued kissing. muahahahaha!
the ending of the movie? well, as usual. Jake and Ashlee got together in the end. and their luck? they passed it to little Katie(Jake's neighbour or something...) by both kissing her. heehee....
now, i wanna watch The Lake House. Sa said she watched the Korean version already and the two characters didnt meet each other. Aww... so sad. but i still wanna watch. for the sake of Keanu Reeves. Muahahaha... who wanna watch with me?
btw, i ate takoyaki today! heehee...

I realised, my blogging frequency has been dropping. Didnt know how i managed to crap so much then... i was really a crap-shen. *acks*
i really have nothing in mind to blog. but i must blog something. yeah, you got it right, Mianz is bored to this extent. ok, let's start with genki. i guess sales is going down once again once school reopens. we really had nothing much to do, so much so that andrew got a 2 hr break from 2 to 4 instead of the usual one hour break from 3 to 4. and jasmine was busy with her disillusion, telling herself that she's very busy. -_-|||... from this point of view, genki people are not as bad actually. but somehow, i still click better with edo peeps. yy came down for... i dunno what as well. he isnt on duty today, and yet he came down. this is something i would never do. it may be a different story if it's at edo. but at genki, it's a place i wont step into unless i'm on duty. i guess, i'll never feel the same about working at genki as compared to edo. edo is still much more enjoyable. and tito came down as well. to return his uniform. he's flying back to philippines soon... this friday or something. 1st july la. it's this week right? anyway, a little boy threw up in our restaurant today. omg... i couldnt bear to look. but it was better than that time in edo. that boy at edo threw up 90% digested stuff. this boy at genki threw up water cum less than 10% digested edamame beans. eew... ok, i shall change topic right now.
so much for my randomness...
i'm off tmr. was hoping that i can go out, but in the end. no one is free to go out with me. so i shall stay at home tmr. doing what? well, i have no idea as well. perhaps i can entertain myself with the movies in my lappie. i've just finished watching The Wild. hahaha... it's cute! especially ryan! ROAR~! *meow~~~~!* hahahaha.... kawaii~! hahahaha... so what shall i watch tmr? The Pink Panther? hmm... perhaps. i've tried to watch it twice or thrice already. but i just couldnt finish watching it. i guess the french accent was too much for me to bear. and all the supposedly funny scenes appeared rather lame and corny for me as well. maybe i can watch ice age and ice age 2. or perhaps, Cars, Nanny Mcphee or Just my luck would be completely downloaded completely tmr for my viewing! i wanna watch The Lake House! Who wanna watch with me? if not, i'll go download again.... anyway, Dino really resembles Keanu Reeves.... oh, nvm.
i was reading past mails of hide's on his homepage. and he was talking about mochi and takoyaki. ah.... it has been sometime since i last ate takoyaki! i wanna eat~! genki does sell takoyaki, but it dont look tempting for me at all. *shakes head* and their okonomiyaki looked more like agedashi tofu than okonomiyaki lor. oh, nvm. i remember that edo do sell potato korokke. but why doesnt genki sell it? i wanna eat korokke! and i wanna eat beard papa's tiramisu as well! hahaha... am i behaving like sa now? Opps~!
oh, world cup's starting... Brazil VS Ghana. No prize for guessing who wld win. but then again, (quoting andrew) the ball is round. anything can happen...

oh, btw. Not many people who reads my blog know soccer players well huh... since mostly are girls. ok, or shall i say... ALL are girls. lol... the footballer on my introduction page is Hidetoshi Nakata, midfielder of Japan National Team. He's currently playing for the Bolton in England. hee... Previously he was playing for Italian Clubs... Oh, nvm....

I'm sick... sick of working at genki. haha.... yeah, that's partly true. but i'm really ill. runny nose with sore and parched throat. and i'm working full tmr. great. this is just so great. tito's last day today. yeah, he's going back to philippines soon. well, i dunno when. didnt ask. *shrugs* anyway, he's going back.. means... more working days for the rest of us. shucks! i wanna quit... i wanna quit.
anyway, i appealed for entry into ENE today. doubt it would be successful. so most prob i wld end up being a civil engineer. hmm....
oh yeah... i'm currently hooked on nakata's journal. lol... it's rather entertaining actually... not in edison's sense... but somehow... still entertaining.

yeah, i really stayed up until 5am in the morning to watch the Japan VS Brazil match. Haiz... disappointed. Though Japan should be somewhat honoured to be the first team to score a goal against the Brazilian in the World Cup Finals, they still lost the game with 4-1. The Japanese are going home. the Aussies are going into the round of 16, damn! ok, i dunno what else to say...

heehee.... off ytd. so i went to watch movie with Sa. yeah, we went for the movies with no idea which movie to watch. LOL, so impromptu can! coz we both wanna watch quite alot of movies. so we decided to head down to the cinema and see which movie's timing suit us best. in the end was cars and garfield 2. and we chose garfield. heehee... it was rather short. =( but still, funny and cute! i esp loved the part where garfield and prince played the 'mirror game'. lol... in the end, prince fainted due to garfield's bad breath! muahahahahaha... so funny...
after movies, we went shopping! well, not we. is sa went shopping with me accompanying her. she bought clothes and shoes again lor! and she nearly wanna buy another bag. omg... lol.... we went heerens la. and guess who we met? clara and debbie. it has been so long since we last saw her ok. alamak... this girl. dunno what the hell she is doing also. anyway, she's starting new semester the week after next! muahahahaha... so maybe the 3 of us wld go for ktv next week bah. =)

Father's Day today. i guess it was rather busy at Genki, but it was still ok for me. coz i was the cashier. heehee... just stood before the computer and kept billing and billing only. not as tiring as doing serving and running around to get to the customers.
anyway, missed the Japan VS Croatia match coz i was working. SAD~! it was a draw... Japan didnt manage to win Croatia. Japan is going home without winning one match at all... *sobs*
Watched Brazil VS Aussie. Heehee... AUSSIE LOST~! Brazil won 2-0. it was still 0-0 at half time. but luckily, Adraino and Fred both scored a goal each during the early second half and late second half. There was a couple of scares as Aussie had numerous chances to score. but they just can't kick accurately enough. bleh... Brazil is going into the round of 16 now... I don't want Aussie to go in as well~! but their next match is against Croatia... Sheesh~! anyway, Brazil is rather weak this time round. Esp Ronaldo. he's not the strong player i've seen during 2002 anymore. age is catching up with him already? well, i dunno...

after two busy days at Genki... I've finally getting days off! heehee... maybe i'm going shopping (yet again) tmr. =)
Anyway, England VS Trinidad & Tobago just now. England wins 2-0! woohoo~! it was still 0-0 at half time.... the first goal was a header by Crouch(with a good pass from Beckham) at the.... think it was 80plus minute. *jumps* then i was thinking, if it was Lawrence and not whoever that was guarding Crouch, it may not be a goal. lol... coz i think lawrence would be tall enough to block that header while that whoever it was.... he was too short to be of much threat basically. not being mean or biased. but i'm stating an obvious fact. he was nearly at Crouch's waist when Crouch jumped up for that header. -acks-
then it was a second goal by Gerrard at the 91th minute. Anyway, Trinidad nearly scored a goal during the first half. but TERRY SAVES THE DAY. hahaha.... just a little bit more and it would be a goal. whew~!
and i realised something. i'm working closing on 18th june. I can't watch the Japan Croatia match. DAMN~!

haiz.... rather disappointed with Japan..... after the first half, i was rather sure they would be winning the game with 1-0. but then, (quoting andrew) "the ball is ROUND, anything can happen." sure, 'anything' has happened.... 3 goals after the 84th minute. can you imagine it? 3 goals in less than 10 minutes?! wtf! pardon me for my language... but really! how could such a thing happen? Australia.... they hadn't been in the World Cup for... god knows how many seasons... eight? and altogether that adds up to more than 30 years... GOSH~! what's the prob with Japan?! URGH~! I'M SO SO SO SO DAMNED DISAPPOINTED! Not much of a Japan fan actually... i'm a Nakata fan.... no, i mean... Nakata is quite cute actually. but that's not the point. the point is, what the hell happened after the 84th minute? THREE goals~! the first australia goal at the 84th minute by Cahill.... i really dunno what's wrong with the goalkie... Yamaguchi, was that his name? i'm too shock to remember his name. i was once sure of his name... wadeva~! why did he come out and mingled into the chaotic bunch of people in hope of catching the ball? and of course, he didn't... and he left the blardie area open for Cahill to score. *pulls hair* and after that goal... dunno what happened. perhaps the Japanese was hoping to score another goal to secure their win. you'll see a load of blue shirts at the Aussie's danger zone but none at their own danger zone... maybe one faster runner wld make it back to see the ball flying past Yamaguchi and into the goal... *pengz* what an interesting game...
anyway, Japan's goal could easily become a foul as well... oh, crap!

watched over the hedge with sa today at marina square. finally~! hahahaha... it was a very cute show! i like hammy~! "But i like the cookie..." aww....
was the racoon AJ? well, i dunno... sounds like AJ. hahaha.... the part where he imagined the bear threatening him was corny.... and the tortoise. "It's REPTILE~!" hahaha... the part where AJ and the tortoise made hammy drink the coffee for caffeine to make him even more hyper was funny! the entire earth stopped revolving and everyone was near to not moving and hammy was strolling over to on the system that would capture the bear on loose. it was darned funny la. hammy was ultra fast... and he was walking slowly but faster than the red lights which was turned on. hahahaha! and the part where they were in the human's house and hammy was running around screaming: no grip. Hammy is so cute! the baby porcuppines were cute too.... and the last part where AJ wore the tortoise's shell was cute too. hahaha... his new armour. lol...
i wanna watch barnyard! the tortoises was damn funny. "RUN~!" and they started walking REAL slowly. muahahahaha~! Garfield 2 looks entertaining as well. damn, so many movies to watch, so little momey to spend.

hmm.. sa was telling me about her friend and her... sounds really similar to many of my experiences. i damn suay de... always like that. it's like we're the bus stop and they're the buses, leaving us as and when they feel like it and coming back to us when they feel like it again. or if you want, maybe you can be the airport and they're the aeroplanes; you're the harbour and they're the ship; you're the taxi stand and they're the taxi and et cetera. hmmm.... well, i dunno why... is it because we're too emotionally dependent on those friends of us, or...? i have no idea.
anyway, the very sentence i can be sure these bus friends would ask after a long period of disappearance is: still single? (with the 'why you love being single so much' tone)

had a meeting at genki last night. yeah, a 'meeting'. actually, it's to reprimand us lor. wth.... liddat also can. 1030 talk talk talk till 1230. siao liao la... they actually want us to speak japanese to the customers. like wait a moment please... and some other stuff other than irashaimase and domo arigato gozaimasu. got 5 others... please lor. as if the customers would understand. they would most probably go HUH? and if somehow you went away to attend to something else after asking them to wait for a moment in jap, which they dont understand, they would definitely be pissed la. what's up with genki upper management? don't they have the brains to think of this situation? kaoz.... brainless bunch of people... now we gotta speak in jap and then translate for each and every customers. great, as if we're so free. this is genki, not edo. fools!
anyway, gotta wake up early to do cac filming at raffles place. supposed to meet at 1130, i reached promptly la. but desmond and pq both late. great, i could have slept half an hour more. blardie hell. anyway, it was rather embarrassing to do lame stuff for the shooting at raffles place during lunch hour la. and there was one scene which pq and i gotta stand back to back and desmond gotta revolve around us. and guess what? he banged into the lamp post! muahahahahahaha... and gotta re-take. alamak... then after shooting, pq and i went fish n co at suntec for lunch. seafood platter! hahaha... but i couldn't finish it. nvm, nvm....
oh, and i've finally got in touch with uncle david again....

Julio was actually doing a funny yoga like pose while singing... was it Blue or Natural High. i forgot. but the shutters weren't fast enough to catch the initial pose. AWW...
well, i think basically that's all.... for more pictures, go my multiply site bah... had a few videos taken as well. but whether or not i'll upload it, depends on my mood. heehee...
anyway, worked closing at Genki so i missed Soler's authograph session at bugis junction. Benny's on duty too. and i can further confirm, i wld never grow to like him. *shrugs* he loves kb-ing... or maybe he just has a LOUD voice. WADEVA....
