For the first time in the past 4 years, I went out with my CEE friends.
it's supposedly to 'celebrate' the commencing of my IO this coming Monday which is like, 2 days away. I'm dreading it. Gotta report to HR@Novena at 830. I hope I'll not be working at novena throughout the 3 months. Labs are definitely situated at Eunos/Ubi.
anyway, watched Shinjuku Incident last night with my CEE mini-clique. It's not a very typical Jackie Chan action-packed film. I mean, yes it is still an action movie in the sense that you see people pulling triggers at each others' head, cutting away their arms, slashing at others' necks, plunging knifes into each others' stomachs and see how their intestines slip out etc. But it's seriously lacking in the special Jackie Chan's entertainment style of fighting. But then again, it's kind of expected. We can't expect him to go on fighting that like forever and ever, right? In his later movies like New Police Story we've already seen hints of him attempting to switch styles into a more stubtle form of fighting and 'passing' the stunts over to Nicholas Tse. Around The World In 80 Days didn't see much of his 'WHOA!' fighting as well. What else? I miss Rush Hour series. I hope he'll consider making a Rush Hour 4.
Anyway, back to Shinjuku Incident. It's depicting how illegal immigrants(mainly from China) fought hard to earn a living in Japan's Shinjuku area. Literally fought hard. It has been nearly a month since this movie started airing, so i reckon those who wished to watch it has already done so? So am I allowed to give spoilers here? Eh, maybe not. I'm lazy.
Gee. (A SNSD inspired form of 'Hee'... I'm being lame here, ignore me)
I find it quite depressing that Steelhead has to die in the end. It didn't really affect me as much that Eguchi has to die since he's evil. Eguchi.... haha, Iriguchi, Deguchi, Eguchi desu! (now this is a taguchi junnosuke inspired pun, i'm being lame again... ignore me.) Iriguchui is entrance and Deguchi is exit, btw. It didn't really affect me to have the rest of the chinese illegal immigrants who were with Steelhead dying because they turned evil over the lure of money as well. But why Steelhead? Yes, he did kill. He did steal. He did go astray at one point of time. But all in all he was still the good one among them. Why did he has to die, and of all places, to be washed away by the sewage waters in the underground plumping systems? Okay, maybe it's because i'm Jackie-biased. *shrugs*
oh, and there are photos of the ktv session with sa and her clique. I've not even downloaded the sendspace file. I shall do a super duper late blog entry about it erm.... sometime later.

Yay, exams are over. Haha, it's rather weird how i'm not that overexcited over my new found freedom. Oh well, actually it's because i'm tentatively starting work on 27th, which is, yes... 3 days away. I'm dreading it. Am supposed to get some confirmation from them but they never called. Okay, i shall go email them again later. haha...
now for my papers. Jap 3 was blogged, yes?
If it weren't for my screwed up oral i think an A would be possible. but no, i totally threw my 15% into the garbage bin just in that less than 5 minutes.
HRM was fine. The paper itself should... i don't know earn me a B? But yet again, my quiz was screwed. So i guess a C should be it.
Science or Fiction was sucky! Omg, it's an MCQ paper with more than 1 correct answers for the questions. My entire OAS was literally blackened. Yes, there were so many questions I shaded 4 out of 5 choices only because the 5th choice was: None of the above. Everything seemed to be correct and also wrong at the same time and I just shaded everything. What, another C?
Then lastly my Water Resources. Haiz, i've spent days studying it and I really hope to get a good grade for it, judging from the fact that my quizzes aren't screwed up. But i just have to screw up the paper. 2 and a half hours ain't enough. I left 30 marks BLANK! BLANK! BLANK! And I can't be sure that those i've attempted are correct at all. =(
stupid exams are so screwed.
i've dieded.

I was intending to type this entry in Japanese but somehow I'm lazy to run my Japanese software plus I've no time to wait for it to start running. Jap 3 paper today. I finished it within one and a half hour as usual. This is the first time i know how to do the katakana question FULLY. But then, this is also the first time i screwed up my oral. so.... i guess it should even out... not? oral is worth 15%, damnit! =(
Hopefully I can still get an A-.
*prays very very hard*
Okay, break is over. Now it's HRM plus Science or Fiction mugging time!

It's a crazy day for me. absolutely insane.
930 - Physics 2 Quiz
130 - Jap 3 Listening
230 - Jap 3 Oral
330 - Water Resources Quiz
Like, what the hell?! And no, i didn't stupidly squeeze all my tutorials into one day so that i can get self-acclaimed free days by ponning lectures. I've outgrown that. Just so happened that some modules like to have quizzes during lectures while some prefer tutorials.
so... tadaa! I got killed.
Physics quiz was.... expectedly chui. I could only do 2 out of 7 questions. and the rest, i just anyhow chose one answer out of 5 choices. 20% of getting it right. From my usual ultimate suayness, i guess 2/7 for this blardie quiz is highly probably. let's say, a 99.99%.
Jap 3 Listening was still alright. Just that I cant catch if the elevator can only go till basement 1 or level 1. i chose basement 1 while majority of the class chose level 1. suayness again? sighz...
then i can't differentiate their chan-san from zaffin-san. i thought the first time i heard zaffin-san wa chan-san yori.... then second time i heard chan-san wa zaffin-san yori. so in the end i just look at the overall percentage of maru and batsu i had for that particular part. I had more maru than batsu so i added one more batsu to that. Well, the whole class was complaining that the listening was a killer, so i guess it's pretty alright for me to confirm get 2 wrongs for now? hahaha...
but the oral~! I so wanna stab myself now. Sensei asked me: NANDE ongaku wo kikimasuka? (which means what do you use to listen to music) I totally heard nande, but my brains couldn't register it properly and i replied what kind of music do i enjoy listening to.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
doushite? doushite? doushite? why am i so stupid?
i think this is the first time i've totally answer B for an A question. Sensei totally gave me a 'HUH?' look when i answered that question and i immediately knew i said something wrong but my brains just refused to function properly! it was only after i exited the room did i reviewed the entire conversation and i realised i've answered a nande question with a donna answer. And, my oral test is super duper short. I was still waiting for sensei to ask me more questions and she just went: hai, owarimashita! and i was like: eh? hayai! the rest of my tut-mates who were waiting for their turns were also surprised by my quick exit when i stepped out of the room. double chui!
Urgh! i'm so going to die for Jap 3. My A is gone. Shinitai~
The only okay thing for today is water resource. i can confirm at least a 70%, if not 80 or 90 if i'n lucky. okay, i know i'll never be lucky with tests. so yeah, i'm still contented with a 70-80%
okay, so this marks the end of my brooding day. yes, i totally brooded the whole day, watching random cartoon kat-tun + akanishi videos on veoh and youtube and did zero studying. i'm going to return to my mugger world first thing tomorrow morning.
goodbye, my A for Jap 3.

。。 大変!
OK OK, I shall use English for the rest of this post. Please dont ask me to translate *points above* It's just something random.
As I was saying, I'm having my Jap 3 Listening and Oral test coming Monday, along with my Physics and Water Resource quizzes.
死ぬ! I am so going to die for Physics.
We were asking Fujita sensei about the oral test and suddenly this guy asked: Sensei, will we fail?
and of course, this sparked off the dramatic reaction of Fujita sensei and she acted out the entire failing plus non-failing scenarios for us.
...
If I ask you: 今朝何を食べましたか? (What did you eat this morning?) and you don't know what I'm asking about, don't just keep quiet. Keep quiet fail! Or if you say 花瓶 (vase), also fail! If you don't know what is 食べます *proceeded to act out a panic attack* you can ask me, but ask in Japanese ah! 先生、食べますで英語は何ですか? ah, then i will answer you, eat です! then if you don't know what is 今朝 *proceeded to act out yet another panic attack* you can also ask again. then I will tell you 今朝 means this morning. But then if after asking what is 今朝 and 食べます you still answer 花瓶 *acted out a super duper blank look* FAIL!
...
I really have to say, out of the three tutors I had, Fujita sensei is really the most interesting tutor. I still remembered the time when she was telling us that she saw one of our tut-mates at Wisma and how she was on the elevator doing downwards while she was trying to call out to her, and she also acted out the scenario by waving at nobody in particular while sliding down her own chair.
muahahahahahaha!
and she's a 山P and 亀梨 fan too! Uber cool right?
oh well, hopefully I will get her for my Jap 4 tutor next semester. *prays*
damn, so late now. I'm going off to do some studying for airport now.
バイバイ!
