30th May 2006, Tuesday. Soler's LIVE Showcase at Babyface@One Fullerton level 2, 7.30pm. (brace yourself, this gonna be a long entry)
heehee... went for it with Ivy and her colleague, JinYing, JingYi? ok, something like that. muahahahaha... it's supposed to start at 7.30. but we were let in at around 7? and the whole thing started near 8. the host was peifen. babyface wasn't very big la... lol.. and ivy said they purposely chose babyface to make the entire place look packed. well, not being mean. but soler aint really very well known in Singapore yet. yeah, the keyword is YET. hopefully their 2 days in Singapore can help boost their popularity! *shrugs*
ok, the three of us were standing like 2 or 3 metres away from the small stage at 7. and it was until 8 that the entire showcase started with peifen announcing Soler's autograph session at bugis junction tomorrow evening, 6.30pm. blardie hell... if it's at 1 or 2, i may still make it. becoz i don't think the queue would be very long. not being mean, but... there should be a crowd listening to their performance tomorrow, but not all would queue... BAH? lol... but no, it starts at 6.30pm. i'm working Genki tomorrow at 6.30. this is just so great. nvm, nvm... then Soler came MARCHING onto the stage with Julio in the lead, followed by Dino. oh, and before i go into their performace, i really have to say something. Julio's jeans is so cool~! graphic, ripped faded jeans... omg....
ok, i was expecting them to speak in their cute accented mandarin. but no, they spoke English since it's Singapore. haiz... everyone speaks english over here... not like taiwan or something. so, no LIVE funny accented mandarin, but fluent English. AWW....
they kicked start the showcase with their song, Zhi Jue. those who still haven't heard of that song, can go to my player at the top right hand corner, drop down the list and play it. well, it should play if my ripway bandwidth isn't overloaded. if it is, wait 24hrs and try again. muahahahaha... after that, they sang Mo Sheng Ren, and a couple of other songs also from their current album and also their first canto/mandarin album Shuang Shen Dao, like Feng De Zhong Dian, Meng Xing De Shi Jie, Jing Gu Zou, Hai Xiao, Blue... and they ended the night with Natural High. Did i missed out any songs? well, the entire showcase lasted for around 40 minutes?
i can't really remember the sequence in which they sang the songs. But i'm very sure they kicked start the showcase with Zhi Jue followed by Mo Sheng Ren and ended with Natural High ok. and Dino has to re-tune his guitar many times before singing a new song. so Julio would be talking and talking and goes "ready Dino?" and Dino would continue tuning his guitar and shake his head. and Julio would go "Ok, so i shall continue talking..." I remembered clearly, at one point of time, some joker on the floor area shouted hello to Julio as he walked over to take a sip of his water. HELLO? Julio looked rather amused. well, i guess that joker wanted to take a real closed up photo of Julio whereby he was staring at the camera... whatever! she can shout his name or something, right? but HELLO? yeah, Hi~! heehee... anyway, I think the third song was... Feng De Zhong Dian? or was it Hai Xiao? arh, i really can't remember. but i remember that it was Dino who did a small introduction on the song 'Feng De Zhong Dian'. It's supposedly a love song, but he said this song is actually for their mum. And he went on about how their mum is the most important figure in their life, so much so that they used her name as their group name. I guess this is the time Ivy could happily take more photos of Julio for he was playing the keyboard and couldn't jump around the stage like a monkey (this was what ivy said). and another song.... was it Hai Xiao? I can't remember. Dino was talking about it and he asked Julio if he wanna do the introduction for it. and Julio was like "Why don't you talk about it, since you started it." But in the end, it was Julio who talked about it for Dino insisted that Julio do the talking, saying that he intended to throw the ball to him anyway. oh, nevermind. after HaiXiao, there was a mini Q&A session whereby they were giving away 3 autographed posters of Soler. i mean, DUH? if not, would they be giving away posters of WuYueTian? LOL... and Soler started their 'nonsense', demanding for the poster as well. and the Dino got so animated when the first poster was given out. lol... he was pointing animatedly at the lucky girl, chanting: LUCKY YOU! muahahaha... act cute. -_-|||
after that, it was continuous singing already. and before they sang Jing Gu Zou, Julio said that it's a pity they can't sing in cantonese in Singapore and we all went 'NO..'.... lol... but nevertheless, they still sang in mandarin. *shrugs* and they went on and on and on until Blue, where they really jumped around on the stage like... monkeys? hmmm.... good looking monkeys. -laugh out loud- no matter what, must be good looking. heez... after Blue, it was the last song of the day, Natural High. I like this song.... heehee... it was a very fun song as well. especially the round and round and round part. they really went turning round and round and round. muahahahaha... and they changed the lyrics to 'we're on a natural high'. hee, rather endearing? hahaha... don't know why, the word endearing reminds me of dogs. >_<
and after the showcase, some lucky peeps can get to take a polariod with Soler because they got the polariod coupons. and guess what? the organising people was giving out the coupons right in front of us and because we didn't know what they was, we didn't bother to go in front to get it! URGH~~~! but nvm, it's just a polariod. *sour grapes* muahahahahaha...
and just now, they would on Yes933 at 11pm. hmm... the part where Julio said that he's rather fortunate to have someone (meaning Dino) to be there to listen to him as and when he has something to say was rather touching. but Dino sorta spoilt it by saying "when i see him coming, i would be saying to myself: here he comes again..." AWW..... anyway, after listening to the 933 programme, i was feeling rather happy that they spoke English at Babyface... if not, i would be laughing throughout the showcase bah. mauahahahaha... not being mean, but... really! heeheez...
oh yeah, the photos and videos gotta wait. maybe i'll post them up tomorrow night or something... working closing at Genki tomorrow and thurs. really dreading work now... HAIZ....

it seems like alot of people don't know who on earth Soler are. how come? -_-|||...
hahaha... well, they're born in Macau don't know how many years ago. (their age is a secret. Is, because both are of the same age... -_-|||) though there are rumours saying they're around 33. but taiwan media said they're 20+. Argh, who cares?! They're half Burmese-half Italian twins. (Jay, are you drooling yet?) and because of their Burmese mother and Italian father, they hold 3 passports. Portugal, Italy and Macau. *WHOA* well, this is one fact of them that really amazed me man... THREE passports? OMG~! Oh, and i guess. if no one told you they're twins, you wouldn't think they're twins. to me, they don't look identical like the taiwan twins 2moro. but then again, who cares?! identical or not, both of them are HOT! (Jay, are you nodding your head enthusiastically?) ok... what else? They speak a whole load of languages. Lemme see... other than the basic: Mandarin and English.... They speak Cantonese, Italian, Portugese, Spanish, and French. *WHOA* that's really alot! *faints*
lastly, they had released two albums so far. well, i think so. and they're coming to town soon! as in... in a few hours time? -laugh out loud-

second day at genki today. hmm... today was busier than mon. as in, well.... from 1230 to 1 plus was rather crowded.... and at 2, the crowd stops. monday was all constant until 3. so at one point we were all bustling around. hahaha... finally met yy and andrew. i find andrew a more interesting guy. yeah... he kept complaining and complaining and complaining. haha.. about how he washed the dishes from 12 to 10 ytd, how richie always scold him (and that he's biased towards us girls) and etc etc etc. and he was using the pda to bill. and he click click click, no bill was printed. hahaha! yy ar... he doesnt really seem to be in the same world as me. erm, i mean. he looked that sorta real serious type. *shrugs* but can see that he's a nice guy as well. he waited for me to enter and closed the door for me. *nods* but still... or maybe because he's the runner today. so didn't really have chance to talk la. hmm... anyway, andrew kept saying that i look familiar. hmm... he dont look familiar to me leh. andrew...? or were we in the same tuition class years ago? nvm, ask him on sat. acks, faizal's last day on sat. but i wont get to see him. he starts at 4, i end at 4.
tmr off, fri off. sat, work again!

my first day at Genki today. i guess, it's a rather bad choice of workplace. it's making me miss Edo and my edo friends! Yanling, trix, shihui, iidako, carmen, ahling, ah sang and uncle david~! aww.....
but anyway, genki is tougher than edo lor. edo is so free and easy as compared to genki. we take order using PDA. and we must memorise all the PDA numbers of each dish and sushi... -_-" siao liao.... the menu is twice or thrice as much as edo's. siao liao siao liao...
well, the people there... i don't know la. maybe is because edo's people is too friendly. hahaha... esp uncle david. i remembered the very first day and we were like chatting? hahaha... or maybe it's because edo was too free. other than to talk, you have to stone. hahaha... oh, whatever. anyway, tito is a nice and funny guy. haha... and faizal is quitting soon. but nvm, maybe i can see him in ntu coming sem. he's in acc. haha! sheryl's and pq's junior~! muahahaha...

went shopping with sa today. went orchard... it has been so long since i last went orchard la... hahaha.. bought a pair of purple bubble shorts. heehee.... and a pair of lizard earstuds.... err... more faceshop masks... and another cute voodoo doll. it's a pink angel with a wand. very cute leh! hahaha... i'm still waiting for the harry voodoo to come. muahahaha...

Genki called me, they're offering me a place at TM. yeah! of course i'll take it. it's like 15 mins walk from hm! i can save on transport! woohoo~! guess i'm rejecting varvara as well. i'd rather work weekends at genki for 5.50 per hr than at varvara for 5 per hr. *nods* heehee.... wanna start work soon!

went for SMC interview just now... it's 4.50 per hr, ard 6 days per week. meaning if i were to take it, i cant work varvara at bugis. if i can stay at CS, maybe i can consider. but they said most probably i will not be stationed there, but Funan or something. FUNAN? blardie hell! i'll rather work varvara instead lor.
oh, and i forgot.... saw the lead singer of Lucify ytd.... really, he sorta resembles sylvester sim. but a taller version? hahaha... well, i'm not sure. he was sitting down right opposite me on the train, i just gauge roughly that he should not be shorter than me. *shrugs* anyway, his polo shirt was nice. Lucify polo shirt. haha... though i'm not their supporter? got Qinobe's? muahahahaha...
hmm... should i try simply bread? hahaha... my mum and kor was like: you're always going for interviews! interview interview interview, in the end you don't wanna work. -_-|||
anyway, ntu called me regarding the change of course thing. so unsure can. i asked if i have to pay full tuition fee after i change course after 2 sems. and they said MOE stated as long as it's not over 1 yr, i'm still eligible, but is subjected to changes.... like, may change anything without warning. siao liao la! should i still change course?
hmm.. and what can i say? shift the responsibility if you want, shun it if you want. pretend if you want. do i look as if i give a shit?

went suntec to watch MI3 with sa just now. yeah, finally watched MI3. we waited so long because sa was insistent on using her complimentary pass to watch it free. but complimentary passes are not allowed for new movies. so we waited, and we waited, and waited... up till today, it's still NOT allowed. suggested of watching The Wild instead, so that she can use her pass. but she don't want. yeah... also dunno how to help you liaoz.
MI3 ar... not bad la. Maggie Q was damn hot in that red evening gown la. and the car she drove, Whoa~! hahaha... but she still gotta blow it up in the end. aww~! not going to talk much about the movie though. this is the usual not much in depth plot, action packed movie. so, yeah... you can't possibly ask me to describe how Ethan 'flew' over a huge blown up hole in the middle of the bridge; or how he swung from the rooftop of one building to the adjacent one; or how he got his fiancee to eletrocute himself in order to save his life from the micro-bomb that was implanted in his brain right? but one thing that was damn funny. Ethan stole the rabbit's foot and his way of escape from the building was through parachute. but he took off at an impossibly low height, so it was really not a smooth flight for him la. and eventually, he smashed against the glass panel of the building and into an office... we all thought that office was empty, until the camera shifts to the cleaner doing his usual duty in the room. hahaha! that 'sha yan' look in his face was so entertaining. so was the 'we're family song'. and the part where he was struggling with the bad guy... forgot his name. err... really can't remember. anyway, they were rolling about on the road and suddenly a truck came charging towards them. and Ethan was on the ground with the bad guy on top of him. and WHAM! the bad guy got hit head on.... what was left of him on the screen was his shoe. yeah, SHOE! muahahaha...
next movie? perhaps over the hedge first. then da vinci perhaps. *shrugs*
oh yeah, bought a voodoo doll at mini toons. my old voodoo doll from thailand is official broken. his arrow, his bow... all gone. poor doll. now my new voodoo doll is a cheerleader! hahaha...
anyway, sembawang music centre just contacted me. i'm shortlisted and they want me to go CS outlet for interview. hmm... hope i can get it as well. and if i can't compromise both SMC and Varvara, i may reject Varvara... but dunno how to say sia... i've already cfm with the boss that i'm available. nvm, nvm... sk2 also contacted me. but i rejected as well. *shrugs* really hope that i can work in SMC... CD shop! can listen to music all day long... heehee...

(well, and if you're on good terms with the person in charge of setting the schedule, it's an even easier job to have your perfect job schedule, you know you know?) and did i see that your mon and wed are taken? oh, let's see... how many days are there in a week? 7? yes, 7! 7 minus two days... you still have 5 days to choose that 4 days to work! oh bravo! isn't that great? *smiles*

went kster with sheryl, pq, peg and wx! it's been a long time since i last saw wx. think she straightened/rebonded her hair. got a new look. heehee... nice change! =)
we sang early bird. 5 peeps for 3 hrs is really not enough. but nvm, we had fun! i purposely chose yan wei die by Mayday because fish leong's one may be too high for us to reach. but sheryl ar, happily went off to the highest note. good la, choir de la. sing high notes lor... omg, like gui jiao lor.... hahaha... then we all got so high during Lian Ai-ING. mayday's song mah... hahaha! L-O-V-E~! muahahahaha... funniest one was the song by dreamz fm. once again, sheryl tried to up the key. omg, sounded like gay. *shudders* in the end we sang huo yuan jia! hahaha... can you believe it? we really got high la.

watched eight below just now.... on my com la. so guess what i did? i skipped all the human parts and only watched the dogs' parts. muahahahaha.... Max is so smart! he saved Maia! but i really gotta say, the leopard seal part was shocking. haha, got a shock when it suddenly leaped out of the killer whale carcass and growled at Max. omg, got a shock. and when it was chasing Max under the ice, i was so afraid that it would leap out of the ice and pull Max into the water la! whew~! luckily it didn't. it swam back and bit Maia instead. but in the end, all of them attacked and chased it away. whee~! but 8 huskies, only 6 survived in the end. old jack died on the leash. it refused to move off and the other 7 left him to die. aww... and one of ther twin with the birthmark... it fell to its death. err... i only expected it to like, break its leg or something. but no, it died. they saw the so called 'bei ji guang' and that half of the twin got so excited and was jumping and jumping and fell off the slope and died. abit anti-climax la. and Max refused to leave the dead dog and the other 5 moved on without him. got so worried for him. the other 5 were together and he was all alone... and he gotta combat with the leopard seal somemore. but nvm, it's ok. these 6 made it somehow... heehee...
went for inbterview at genki just now. hope i can get it. but most prob i would be at marina sq instead of tampines mall. acks, nvm la. as long as i have a job...

it's CAC bash today at liquid room. it's so small~! expected something much bigger lor... nvm... anyway, we were told to reach by 5. and then, we had nothing to do, just stood around in my heels all the way until 1230 la. great.
anyway, pq and i went out to meet jay and ps for dinner. bak kut teh! yummy.... pq better tell fong chengyuan that it's not ex and not nice. it's rather cheap and yummy lor! got you tiao somemore... muahahahaha... then we went back... got a couple of drinks... and then we realised that desmond got a bunch of 16 yrs old in. blardie hell. i told my cousin not to get those 17 going on a 18 peeps in lor. and he actually got 16 yrs olds? great...
started boogie-ing at ard 11.... all the way until ard 12? then i started to get tired... feet are aching badly... so i started to stone at the side of the dance floor... then pq and the rest attempted to push me out back into the dance floor. and peggy stepped on my little toe... OUCHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh~! damn pain can... urgh~~~! nvm nvm.... eventually we got out of liquid room at 1230. and jay ps and me went to yume ya to chill... haha... yume ya is the new restaurant that took over nihonshu, yeah. but the thing was, we went there barefooted. feet was really aching badly, cannot take it anymore. hmm... then we took pictures in the tatami room. cool! then ps started telling me what i've missed. got one joker guy attempted to dance with jay. lol... but... he danced really weird. he looked as if he was riding a motorcycle! muahahahahaha... though i didnt see it, it's already hilarious by imagining it la. omg...
reached home at 3 plus.. and now, here i am in front of my lappie, waiting for my hair to dry so i can sleep.... *yawn*

went shopping at bugis with peg and pq this morning... went the face shop and bought my mushroom mask! heehee... and their matt foundation. then bought fasio's blusher. then... we went bugis icon. budden, most of the shops aren't open. yeah.... so, nvm. no needa talk about that. eventually we went buis street. got to a shop on the second floor. got alot of nice tops! pq bought 2 and i bought 1 baby doll top. pq's giraffe top is cute! that lacey spagh is nice lor, but peg refuse to buy. yeah la, abit low cut... but can wear bandeau inside mah... in the end she got a purple racer back top. the special part about the top is the back... dunno how to describe. but nice! and i did nail art manicure! heehee... nice nice!
after shopping, we went back to hostel to pack. carried back a hell lot of stuff la. mel's car was PACKED! hahaha... and pq peg and mel helped me carry my stuff up to my unit! heehee, thanks! and they came to visit donut. see, donut still very hyper and healthy ok! nv drop fur or anything ok. stupid cy still say i like to live in denial. but donut is really very healthy lor. bleh!

marketing paper today. and, it's my last paper~! I'm FREE~~~! YOOHOO~! hahaha... the paper was alright i guess. smoked through it. haha... shldnt fail, but cant score well either. yeah.
went kster with sa and wi. wi totally ki-siaoed. sa and i were singing mu nai yi. and she went to dance along with the mv. -_-||| laughed until peng can. totally cannot sing. den sing JS also cannot. wi also tried to imitate sophia. those who don't know how she can imitate her, go view JS's sha po lang mv. then you would definitey understand how she can imitate and how i couldn't sing anymore upon seeing that. then when i sing ben lai, they sa and wi started waving their hands around... urgh~! mad k-ing session la. hold the mic and laugh only... TSK!

chem paper today. well, it was better than all my other paper... other than EC la. EC was the best paper so far. *nods* I think i can fo around 70 to 80% of the paper. can pass la...
went jp for lunch with sa after the paper. and guess what? babies screeching, kids running around etc. i was so so so so pissed lor. and alas, a kindergarden kid came along and decided that she loves my chair. so she leant in against my chair. that's ok, actually. but she just had to wrap her arms around the back of the chair and RUB her hands around it. yeah, no price for guessing what happened. she happily gave me a backrub too. damn pissed lor. i turned around and glared at her multiple times... and she continued doing it as if to challenge me. irritating kids, detestable parents. then as she was putting her whole weight against the chair, i stood up to go wash my hands. tadaa~! she nearly fell flat on her bum. muahahahaha~! then when i return to my seat, she has already taken her place behind the chair, totally blocking my way. happy lor. great! was i walked out the place, i was damn tempted to give her a push so that she would knock her face against the edge of the table or something. irritating kids....
anyway, went tampines mall with sa cause she wanna buy earpiece for wi. guess who we met? VENEH~! hahaha... it has been so long since i last saw her. still waiting for her uni admission reply letter. hope she can get in ntu. can see her more often. *nods*
my final marketing paper tomorrow.... *grins*
