I'm stressed. So i'm gonna rant. I don't care. Ignore this post for all you want.
Had Structs 2 quiz few days ago. And I made a horribly stupid mistake for my shear IL. I got my values from equilibrium method CORRECT. But I just have to stupidly draw the wrong IL. *pulls hair* I want my A for Structs 2. I really want my A. I believe I can survive on equilibrium method for IL. But i screwed up the quiz! *wails*
RC quiz on coming Tues, followed by Steel Quiz on Fri. I'm so dead. Got lost at around lecture 5 for RC and I never did bother to catch up on lecture recording, thinking that I'll do so during recess week. But, they prepone(my version of the opp of postpone) the quiz to week 7! *wails* But luckily, the tutorials still make some sense to me and hopefully i can clear the quiz via 'pattern recognition'. As for steel, the only thing i can catch during tutorial is Prof Lee CK's "Don't worry, don't worry!" =.="
yeah, as if i can not worry about it. I really want my Ds for Steel and RC~! Haha, how motivating. I'm actually aiming for Ds. *sighz*
and on the week after recess week, Wednesday, 7th Oct. I'll be having both my CV4201 QUIZ, and my CV 4000 PRESENTATION 2. Urgh, how lucky! I can forsee how happy my actual birthday will be. *grim look*
oh and talking about my birthday. I've not thought of my wishlist yet. Bascially there's no list for now. Just one item I can think of.
A nice pink laptop bag for my new pink laptop. Haha. Vaio is bigger than Fujitsu, so my laptop now can hardly fit into my old laptop bag. But then again, it's not as if I'll bring my laptop out daily....
So, I guess I'll brainstorm for more wishlist ideas, yeah?
ps. I still can't find that particular angle whereby i'll look like Selina. =(

Went for Kara with Sa and her clique again! This time is the super duper cheap ten bucks kara at tpy/balestier area. Seriously, that place is rather pretty. But their mic and sound system sucks. And after almost every song it wld hang for a few seconds showing 'no signal'. haha, but what to expect? It's only ten bucks NETT. Not the full clique joined us though. TT and YH got something on the in the afternoon. Jonah was sick so he couldn't join us at the last minute. I was hoping to see his 'sister talk' with Sa again. Haha, that kinda amused me, plus I won't have any misunderstanding anymore. =)
One good thing for me is that compared to other karas, they have more j/k pop songs!
They also have BoA's Ten Promises To My Dog song. =) Tohoshinki's Bolero (of course I on audio during YooChun's crazy screaming part. I'm no adventurist). KAT-TUN's White X'Mas, One Drop. Speed's White Love(though this is a fake MV). Hiro's Clover, and even La La La Love Song! I LOVE THAT SONG SINCE YOUNG CAN, LITERALLY!
*sings* Maware Maware Merry-Go-Round. Motto shite tomaranai youni~~~ And, even Wonder Girls' Nobody and SNSD's Gee. No Genie for SNSD though, guess that's still too new. But the Gee(x4) Baby(x3) part is entertaining enough.
jx was saying my range is very wide. of course la, i'm THE multi-linguist. LOL..... okay, i admit i dont understand korean apart from phrases like ahnyeong, saranghae, chingoo, jeongmal, neomu yeppeo, mollah, maldo andwe, pabo, shiloh, eottokae etc. But i really understand at least 60% of the jap songs okay!
once again, the 'fun' part of our kara is suan-ing jx for being old.

Wi: Nono, that's not THAT MZZD. This is an oldie!
And the 5 of us immediately turned and stare at jx while he gave us a beaten look.

After Kara, we went to that particular coffee shop for banmian, and yh joined us for dinner too. So yeah, the dinner's fun part is suan-ing yh.
yh: *blabbers blabbers blabbers*
jx: So what's your zhong dian?
yh: Need a zhong dian meh?
Sa: Of course la! If there's no zhong dian than what's the point of saying it? You only bai jiang and waste our time!
... ...
yh: *blabbers on and on about igave*
Sa: If you're going to continue talking about igave then i'm going home.
... ...
I really wonder why yh likes to meet up. always kena suan and nothing else. poor guy. :p
oh, and sa... for my birthday wishlist right. I'll do it asap k. haha!

Yes, it's Jay's 23rd birthday celebration entry!
But I have to say, the number of photos taken this time is reallllllyyyyyyyyyyy little. I guess we were all too caught up with chatting that the camera was conveniently forgotten. Anyway, ps was not able to join us again! It's so hard to catch our multi-tasker ps. *sighz*

We finally decided to head to Dome for dinner. Ordered a pizza, a pasta, a chicken main course and two sides to share among the 5 of us. and nope, no pics of food were taken. =(
so the night went on with updates. funny, saucy, gossipy updates that includes zh's first porno dvd shop trip story. LOL.... Her certain comment was really OTT. And somehow it developed into Jay's flasher incidentSSSSS... and yeah, things just got raunchier and raunchier. LOL!
Finally, i decided that it's time to cut the cake. Thanks to xj and zl, i've decided to get Rive Gauche for Jay! She commented it's a little bit more bitter than Coco Exotic. Maybe we shall try that next time? *hopeful look*
And finally, it's a group shot to end the super duper short entry. =)

Yeah, finally the Marina Barrage+Chomp Chomp car trip picspam entry is done!

Guess what we did while waiting for the bus to arrive?
while waiting for the bus, I attempted to do a lousy advert for the yoghurt drink....
Then Sa and Wi camwhored with their bears. Prince and Princess. Ok, Prince is MIA. Only Princess is there....
Then we got to the car rental place...
And got our blue car....
After topping up petrol....
Then we're officially good to go!
As we were finding our way to Marina Barrage, the sky started getting overcast...
THEN IT STARTED POURING! =(
and after driving around and around in circles, we finally found our destination!

After picking up JX at NTU, we headed off to Chomp Chomp for dinner!
Then Sa and I decided to camwhore a little while waiting for food to arrive. =)

out of all the bbq seafood we've ordered. Squids were the best, but of course they still can't be compared to the ones we had at desaru. not the price, not the taste.
These are actually mussels, my topmost favourite shellfish. but these mussels tasted plain weird. they both tasted and looked like oysters!

Of course, what's eating bbq seafood without stingray? (it was a little too charred though)
Wi and JX were very happy with the food.
So are we! (though i really dislike the mussels. they tasted more like un-fresh oysters)
Somehow we managed to 'make friends' with the uncles sitting at the table beside us. They graduated from NTU when we were born. LOL, and we got them to take a picture for us! Plus, they also treated Wi to one stick of satay. haha!
And after all those food, Wi and I still went to Mac for shaker fries. =.='' I guess I've finally found out where my 10kg weight gain came from.

It's already the 4th week.
I'm still slogging through tutorial 2 of structs 2. 1 more to go for this week.
Only tutorial 1 of wastewater is done. 2 more to go for this week.
RC and Steel tutorials, not even tutorial 1 was revised.
CV4000 presentation next week, things are not settled yet.
I still havent done my archi design properly.
FYP plan to be submitted next week, nothing was discuss or settled.
Solid waste tuts and project, i can't even be bothered.
I'm so dead.
