godpa purposely took leave to help his friend out at NTU Can A. hahaha... the japanese food stall, yeah. so i went to find him after he knocked off and he treated me to Crystal Jade! muahahahahahaha....
watched Ghost Rider too.... well, i would say it's just an okay movie. trailer seems damn nice, but the actual movie is just ok... though i have to say that water and wind devils are freaky...
and i have no mood to talk much about the movie as well....

muahahahaha.... went through lab today without my brains... i was so freaking sleepy i totally felt like lying my head on the desk and sleep away as my lecturer gave us the briefing...
and then, i sorta stoned a little throughout my lab session...
we were dealing with bitumen softening, penetration and marshall test btw... if you know what's tt about...
had already a slacking plan in mind. so after deciding that baifenbai is not really worth watching for the day, i left for jp at 530pm.... hahaha!
bought a new loreal eye cream for my worsening dark undereye rings.... the nivea one is not working at all... either it's the cream's problem or my own problem... i needa learn to sleep early.... sighz.
stocked up on my fav spicy mushroom instant noodles... too bad i cant find my other fav. the koka singapura laksa pho. nvm, nvm... bought MORE strepsils for my sore throat as well... and off i went to ts for vcds!!!
hahaha.... bought DOA(that time i wanna watch but sun dun wanna watch so we ended up watching flushed away) and helen the baby fox! yes, finally! i've watched helen the baby fox! helen is so cute~! aww... but surprisingly i didnt cry after watching it... have i got no soul? *bambi eyes* but i cried when i watched Quill you know... hmm... maybe labradors still appeal more to me than baby foxes.... though both are equally cute. i guess dogs are more endearing... like duh! LOL...
and after buying my vcds, got a message from sun that made me go: HUH?! wtf?
it's like totally out of the blue he sms me and said: if i ever found out that you specially bring other guys to your hostel, it'll be the end of our r/s.... ... ... *awkward silence*
like wtf right?
replied with something like: totally no link lor... you're damn boliao.
guess we're now back to 'quarrelling in progress' status. shit him....

well... a friend of mine broke up recently... well, not very recent. but i'll just say it's recently... ok, i'm blabbering nonsense. whatever!
and seeing how they totally cut off all forms of contact and etc really got me thinking....
apart from her i've also seen ex-lovers dissing each other to their friends, or worse, scolding each other through blogs and stuff...
now i wonder, did i make the correct decision to go into a r/s with sun?
or was remaining as good friends a better choice?
would we still be friends after breaking up?
can we still be?
oh wait, why am i thinking about breaking up?

went for work today. yeah.... it's Chu Er and i've to work. but i'm only working half day... hahaha... specially requested for it. if not i cfm kena full. yvonne thought i was working full.... when laopo told her i'm only working until 4 she went 'HUH, why you work half day?" hahaha.... wore my one size smaller 3-inch high heel out. and as usual... BLISTERS! one on each big toe and little toe on each foot. and one on the back of my left foot. that adds up to FIVE blisters! stupid heels.... gonna buy new flats asap.... i have no more shoes! ok enough of my ranting over dumb shoes issue....
went to my ah ma's house after work... and got a very 'expensive' angpow packet which she told me not to throw it away but keep it for further use... ???
haha... it's a mercedes-benz red packet actually. the material is really better than your average angpow... feels fabric-ish instead of paper-ish. oh wadeva! haha... moreover, they only gave SIX red packets when my uncle bought a new mercedes for 170k. SIX?! *pengz*
hahaha.... and laopo gave me my belated Vday present! hahaha... her's would be super duper belated.... she bought be a love fairy. haha... damn cute! and i purposely told jc that she bought me a vday gift.... he looked pissed. lol....

yeah, watched Just Follow Law on Vday....
as i've said... i've high expectation of the movie. i guess i would say it's ok.....
i nv expect Jack Neo to pull such a stunt in his movie... soul exchanging between Fann Wong and Gurmit Singh after a car accident. -_-"
but i have to say, the two of them are amusing after the soul exchanging. coz Fann Wong is now Gurmit Singh and Gurmit Singh is now Fann Wong. so you can see Fann Wong doing all sorta un-ladylike stuff and even saying 'NABEH!' lol... and the part where Gurmit Singh accused Fann Wong of molesting 'her' body is hilarious... oh well, dont think you would get it... you have to watch the movie to understand what on earth i'm talking about...
the 5 'B's is amusing too.... Bang Jio, Bang Sai, Bang Pui...BANG GUNG! *pengz* and that indian security guard is super amusing! "I nv follow rules, kena scolding. I follow rules, also kena scolding... alamak... i go back india la!" wth, was laughing like mad la... coz his superior told him to watch over the vip parking slot and cannot let any other cars parking in those lots. then somehow a fire broke out and the fire engines stopped their vehicles in the vip slots and he insisted on them moving the vehicles away coz it's only for vip. wth? the fire already burning like no body's business... then the fire fighters ignored him... and after they're done with the fire fighting and went back to the engines, they realised that the security guard has clamped their engines. WTH?! damn hilarious!
yeah, and on the day after Vday, we watched Protege... got a stroke on each 'e' la... so i think if i didnt hear them wrongly, it's pronounced as Pro-Tu-Che... something like that la! it's a nice movie! *nods* it's about drugs peddling... mainly heroin... Andy Lau is the Lao Da... and Daniel Wu is the undercover and also his protege. yeah, and Daniel Wu supposedly went undercover for 7 years, trying to nab Andy Lau before he would do much as a policeman... and in the process of working undercover, he got to know a Junkie called Fen, the wife of Louis Koo... yeah, and the whole story is a story of police and thief lor... but why it's nice? i dunno la... i just found it nice lor... the part where Louis Koo killed Fen with an overdose of a new drug was freaky la... she just went into spasm. *shudders* and the part where another group of police wanna bring down the drug warehouse was eeyer! the dumb police got his hand knocked off by a hammer. eew! and when they finally brought down the door and his subordinates barged in right, he still shouted: dont step on my hand! look for my hand first! *faints*
well, in the end... Andy Lau committed suicide when he got caught. and Daniel Wu managed to trick Louis Koo into getting caught by Singapore Police by drug trafficking. and 715 is that singaporean cop..... oh nvm... it's getting late and i'm blabbering nonsense...

yeah.... one lousy Vday for me....
well, actually i didnt want to go out on Vday coz i know it wld be damn crowded everywhere... but he wants to go out on Vday. yeah, so i agreed lor.
was watching Just Follow Law at 930pm..... and i told him to meet at 7 for dinner coz i know there will be queue everywhere and it wld take a long time to eat. but at 6, he called me and said he wld be late coz he's going out with his friend. i knew he wld be meeting his friend but i thought it wld be in the early to mid afternoon... but hello? you're supposed to be meeting me at 7 and you actually meet him in the evening?! wtf!
nvm, he told me he wld reach dhoby ghaut at ard 7 plus. so i left my hall abit later. and i reached there at 730... nope, he's not around. called him up told him i'm hungry already and he says he's not ready to leave yet, which i dunno why.... and so i sat there and waited... and waited... and waited. 7 plus my foot! he reached at 8 plus! damn him.... and by the time he reached i was already totally stoned and expressionless. and he still have the cheek to grin and asked: why, got angry just by waiting for me huh! i told you not to come out so early already!
WTF!
and for the WHOLE of that blardie day, i didnt speak one word to him....
and of course, i went without food that day.

How far would you go for love?yeah, went to watch The Matrimony with mq and sun last night at tm. -_-" hahaha... mq is my GV TM movie buddy. Actually wasnt very keen to watch it coz it's some sort of a supernatural movie. yeah, and i hate ghost movies. but mq was very keen on watching so i sorta dragged sun along since he took leave. and this is the first time i totally see NO scary scenes during a ghost movie. nono, not becoz it's not scary at all.... no ghost movies wld be not scary no ah mian... nonono... *shakes head sadly* it's becoz i simply held sun's hand in front of my eyes everytime i got the eerie feeling creeping up. at first he wanna force me to watch but i somehow got peeved. so yeah, everytime he sensed that the ghost is coming out he wld auto cup his hand over my eyes. lol....
well, the movie simply revolves around Junchu(Leon Lai), Sansan(Rene Liu) and Manli(Fan Bing Bing). Actually Junchu was supposed to be getting married to Manli, who is a DJ. but somehow Manli died in a car accident(which is damn fake-o) right before his eyes. and the heartbroken Junchu brought all of Manli's possessions over to his house and kept them all up in his attic. At that point of time, his housekeeper sensed 'something' coming over along with possessions as well but there was nth she could do other than to perform some rituals in three areas of the house to prevent the spirit from doing evil. Then one year later, Junchu's mother faked illness and tricked him into marrying Sansan. And one day Sansan accidentally wiped off the incantation on the boards supposed to keep the spirit away. and Viola~! Manli is out at work. at first, she tricked Sansan into believing her that she wanted her help to let Junchu forget her and move on with his current life. And subsequently possessed her body, trying to replace Sansan slowy. When Sansan realised it, it was already too late and in the end, she allowed Manli to take over her body totally. Yeah, and in the end, to get rid of Manli's spirit once and for all, Sansan has to pierce her own heart with the spike or something. Haiz....
and the confusing part came....
the scene went back to the very beginning where Manli died in a car accident. but this time, she didnt get hit by a car and Sansan was also around. and the ending was Manli going off with Junchu and Sansan walking away as if she dont know the duo at all...
'HUH?' right?
oh well, nvm....... going to watch Just Follow Law later.... I'm having high expectations of the movie... *nods* well, say i'm weird. but i sorta like Jack Neo's Movies..... lol... very local, but good!

No reply came from him when i wished him a happy birthday last year. i guess, he has changed his mobile number without informing me, or simply went back to malaysia without telling me.... this is really a saddening thought. someone whom i was once very closed to, simply disappeared from my life.... Ah Sang as well. the last time he called me and told he me wld call me again was.... in 2005? *faints* Arh, how i miss them! weird, i thought friendship would not disappear like love. but still..... HAIZ.....

Computational quiz today. it's alright i hope... although i cant get full marks for it. i definitely wont fail. *nods*
and got another quiz tmr... SIANZ... luckily fri's quiz is postponed! heehee....
and EID meeting today was crap! they asked to meet at 530.... and it was raining like shit... nvm, i walked over to LT7 despite the blardie rain to, just to know that we're having a presentation this fri at 630. wtf? i'm wrking at 630 la! and last fri i even asked my leader and he said the subsequent fridays would be free.... wth.... and yeah, the meeting is just to let me know that we're having a presentation and nothing more. a simple sms would do the job right? how smart.... waste my time.
then nvm, coz i was late for the stupid meeting and when i got thr their first sentence was: hey, this fri you presenting ok! as i looked around i saw those kinda 'evil' smile... so my thought was either it's a joke or they're ganging up against me to be the sole presenter. and at the end of the meeting which took less than 5 minutes for me, one of the guys still told me. remember ar, you presenting ok? turns out that it's a blardie joke coz i was late. wtf.... a bunch of boliao guys... i guess is this what happens when you're the one and only female in the group. sheesh! oh wells... perhaps i'll be on mc this coming fri.... *shrugs* wahahahahaha! perhaps i cant even turn up for the presentation too... shld the mentor be free only at 630... hiakhiakhiak... too bad then!
and due to boredom and plain refusal to mug for my quiz tmr, i actually looked through some of my old entries. brought back a hell lot of memories that simply brought a huge grin to my face.... esp those days at edo with david and ah sang, and at ocbc with andy, derru, xr, hw, trix, hm, fw, willy and gaya.... haiz, how i miss them!

and i needa stock up on my facial sheet masks, collagen crystal eye masks, and nose clearing patch. and there's something i gotta say. i know ALOT of those nose patch out there doesnt work. like you pull it out and there's really nothing stuck on the patch... literally NOTHING. but missha's works! well, it wouldnt clear all ya blackheads at one go la... not that miraculous... but you can really see alot of those blackheads stuck on the patch when you remove it. *nods* worth a try... though it's not very cheap...

something not very nice has happened due to my kaypoh-ness. was feeling bored and so i just grabbed his hp and looked through. stumbled upon something i'd rather not see... got damned pissed over it. but now i've decided to just take it in my stride. what ought to happen, will happen... wont it? so the decision now is to chuck it to the back of my mind and see what happens next. there's no point in any more bombardment or whatsoever. i'll be cool about it.

yuppie, finally watched Apocalypto yesterday morning with laopo and yq. This movie talks about the Mayan Civilsation which has actually ended around 500 years ago... maybe a few centuries after the Spanish invaded them. Wonder how did the Spainhis manage to bring that particular disease over into the Maya Cities, which supposedly killed 90% of the Maya population. Hmm... i have to say their makeup group rocks. LOL... yeah, all the cast are mayan people living in america. but many of them have already blended in with the modern technology. although some are still living in a more traditional way, THEY DO NOT HAVE ELONGATED EARLOBES TO PUT THOSE ENORMOUS WHATEVER YOU CALL IT THROUGH. haha... the 3 of us thought that they were native people who already have those kinda earlobes. heehee...
Well, actually Apo revolves around a hunter named Jaguar Paw, about how he managed to go through all odds for the sake of his wife and sons, and seek a new beginning in his life after his village was cruelly invaded by people of the Maya Cities for a sacrificial ritual to 'pay' back their gods so as to stop the famine which savaged their realm.
well, the movie is rather gory and barbaric actually.... throughout the movie you'll see people shooting arrows through each other, some piercing right through the back of the head and out from the mouth, some poking through the side of their stomach, some... yeah i think you wld have got the picture yeah. if it's not arrows, it would be stuff like axes.... swinging them at each other's heads and seeing how the blood would spew out from the wound like a fountain... or how one of the city people(the one that called Jaguar Paw 'Almost') slashed Flint Sky's neck and you can see thick red blood POURING out of his wound.... But just a small thought. i really dont think anyone would be able to be as calm as Flint Sky(father of Jaguar Paw) when you have an enemy positioning a blade right at your neck. He was having his totally calm and peaceful expression while saying 'My son, dont be afraid' to Jaguar Paw... -_-" and the sacrificial ritual is like... totally gory, altought they didnt show much. they painted their capture blue. then they forced them to lie down on a small stone pillar and opened up their chest and dug out their heart. then they beheaded them and rolled the head down the super duper tall flight of stairs where their will be people with nets right at the bottom to catch it before throwing the headless body down too. omg.... totally barbaric. then when it was Jaguar Paw's turn to be killed, there was suddenly an eclispe. and the city people thinks that the god was satisfied and thus Jaguar Paw's life was spared.... only for a moment longer. the rest of the capture not sacrificed would be killed in a more barbaric manner.... in a game of impossible escape. the capturers brought them to a big open space right in front of a dried up corn field(they were experiencing famine). and behind the corn field would be their jungle. the leader's son was chosen to be the finisher, meaning to finish up the life of the captured. the rest would be armed with all sorts of weapon and playing 'hunting' with the captured. first, they released the captured and told them to run. should they made it pass the corn field, they would be free. but of course, with a dozen of armed enemy aiming at you. you can never make it pass the open space and into the corn field. see, totally barbaric! but Jaguar Paw made it and killed the finisher. hence, the rest of the capturers went after him into the jungle... that's when i really started to sit right at the edge of my seat. coz Jaguar Paw was already shot and bleeding. so when he hid up in the trees, his blood dripped onto the last man's back. i was so afraid that that man would realise it immediately and shoot him or something, but he didnt. and when i thought Jaguar Paw was safe for the moment, he turned around and came face to face with an angry black jaguar. WTH?! then he started running away from the jaguar and towards his enemy. and he actually 'outrun' the jaguar coz one of the suay enemies cut in behind him and in front of the jaguar. hence, he became the target and Jaguar Paw escaped... outrun a jaguar? hahaha... now you understand why he's jaguar paw and destined to 'bring the jaguar' instead of cheetah paw and 'bring the cheetah'. if you still cant get my lame joke, cheetah is the fastest animal on land. noone can ever outrun it. yeah... -_-" and another more amazing feat of Jaguar Paw, apart from not being stung by wasps despite him carrying one wasp hive, was that he could actually get out of quicksand. wth, is this guy superman? oh, nvm! out main character couldnt die just yet, right? and as the movie continues, you'll see how his capturers died one after another while he remains unscathed. and finally, the leader was killed by the tapir's trap and for the remaining two men, i have no idea what happened to them. coz they were continuing to go after Jaguar Paw when the three of them came to the beach and saw ships and boats ferrying men in. According to history, they should be the Spanish, i guess... yup. and those two were totally enchanted or something and started walking towards the spanish while Jaguar Paw ran back into the forest to save his family and seek their new beginning....
and another small thought that came to my mind during the movie. is a tapir an anteater? hahaha! coz right at the beginning of the movie, Flint Sky, Jaguar Paw and some other hunters in their village were hunting down a tapir. and Jaguar Paw tricked one of the child-less hunter to eat the raw tapir's balls.... EEW, GROSS!
Beware the blackness of the day. Beware the man who brings the jaguar... for he will lead you to your end - Oracle girl.
